First of all I would like to wish all breadwinners struggling hard in Singapore for their families a very HAPPY LABOURS' DAY. When coming to talk about this, I would like to share something. Since like it was labours' day, there was this carnival cum concert going on at the Esplanade-Waterfront. As I had 4 tickets with me, I called my dearest cousins badrun and her brother, hamid along to the carnival with my sister. The ticket comprises of game coupons, food coupons and also a free bumper boat ride to esplanade. Even though, we didn't had a slight chance to try the bumper boat ride since we were already at esplanade, we still had a BLAST! Oh gosh! I didn't expected it to be soooo much fun. Especially when my cousins and sister are there. Firstly, right after we stepped into Esplanade-Waterfront, we were starving to death. So hungry that we could faint any moment. Haha, so like we dashed towards the food counter, presented our coupons and collected our meals. They were actually giving away Mcdonalds and KFC food. Since my tongue was like already dead over KFC, I queued up at the Mcdonalds' counter to collect my fillet. Likewise my cousins are all-time favourites of KFC, they collected their food at the KFC counter. The whole of esplanade was so packed with millions of people that we couldn't find a place to sit and have our lunch. Finally my dearest cousin, hamid brought us along to the city hall mrt station where there's this BIG place for people to actually romance, break-dance and study. We sank into one corner and munched our food away greedily. There comes the most funniest and enjoyable part of the whole outing. THE CONCERT!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! I couldn't believe that my eyes caught the sight of TAUFIK BATISAH. He was like wow..wow..wow!!! Faces of taufik fans were glowing with joy when he sang the first three tracks from his album. I couldnt' stop capering about when I saw taufik. His songs were sooo much soothing for the ears. We really had alot of fun. Then Sly came, He sang three tracks also. I don't want to mention anything about Sly as I am not a fan of him at all. Later part of the show, came this local indian artiste who added some live, action, dance and joy to the show. He sang a hindi song and an indian typical song, called 'DHOOL' which made these group of malaysians who came to watch the show go mad. Theoe weirdos were so clumsy and havoc. They nearly scared us away. They were like dancing crazily and having soo much fun than the locals. They loved the indian song "dhool" soo much that they were chanting away dhool all the time when the chorus came. We joined in the fun together with them. It was such a blast man. I didn't had soo much fun in my life time ever by attending a concert. There was one time when it was raining that the people watching the show spreading out their umbrellas to seek shelter. We, on the other hand, no space to sit down were watching the concert from the side holding onto the rails. Haha, I can still remember my sister and my cousin climbing on top of the railings and bellowing "Eh, close your umbrellas la, chee***!!" haha....sooo hilarious to the max. Like as if we paid to watch the show. It was soo god damn enjoyable. I wish there could be another concert similar to this. It would be sooo much fun. I really had a great time with my fellow sweethearts. We always had a blast whenever we are together.
