PRATA CAFE
PRATA CAFE
Evans Road, where PRATA CAFE is situated. The area is located at at quiet road which leads to the Botanical Gardens from Bukit Timah Road.
PRATA CAFE has staggered 34 varieties of pratas which opened in early May. Prices range from 80 cents to $6. The cafe has an alfresco dining area too, sells 1,500 pratas a day on weekdays and about 2,000 on weekends.
Muhyi dearest brought me there for dinner. Muhyi ordered the Italian Prata ($6), the signature dish, which is a delicious crispy invention with a generous filling of mutton, cheese, mushroom, onion and capsicum. It's a bit like pizza, except the ingredients are stuffed in the middle.
I ordered French prata which was the Chef's recommendation. This prata was chopped into small pieces and had green capsicum, egg, minced meat and crab meat. It was served with dhal curry. The prata tasted yummilicious.
They even have this Greek Salad Prata ($2.50), a vegetarian prata served with dhal curry. What turned out to be a coincidence is that, they own Mr. Prata too, which I blogged about last year.
