PASTAMANIA FOR MANIACS!
Muhyi and I wanted to go for a ride on the bumboats at Esplanade very badly last Saturday. Before that, we decided to go for a quick casual dinner as we were famished. We went to the PASTAMANIA outlet at Bugis Junction.
Being a weekend, the place was swarmed with people and we had to wait for about 10 to 15 mins to be seated.
Once we had settled down to a table, we started looking at the menu to choose our pastas.
We placed our orders, Chicken Cheese Salsiccia and Tuna & Turkey Bacon Pasta. The restaurant was so crowded that the waiters and waitresses have to wiggle through the huge mirage of chairs in order to get to all the customers.
Well, I should say that the pastas weren't that delicious but they tasted fine.
PastaMania has been known to serve a variety of affordable and "fast food" type pasta, ideal for the quick lunch with some very tasty cream sauces.
Unfortunately, I felt that standards were a little lower on the day itself and this could be due to the excessive crowds.
In conclusion, we had a good meal. No bad reviews. And to add all that up, Pastamania is HALAL certified. I would reckon that you guys should avoid dining during the weekends to prevent long waiting period for ur dishes to be served.
