BREEKS CAFE

BREEKS

This was the day where we went to Breeks Cafe to celebrate my girfriend, Aishah's 22nd birthday. It was totally an intimate session with only us, the girls. Got her a dorothy perkins handbag for her birthday. It was sooo gorges and I really loved the colour to the extreme.

So we talked and laughed as usual. It is always a blast when we are together. Had a great time together.

I know that I have already blogged about Breeks before, but I wanted to blog about it again cause I ordered something else this time.

I ordered something light since we had a birthday cake to eat for desserts so I can't eat anything heavy. I orderd club sandwich and ice lemon tea for myself while the rest of them ordered beef lasagne, baked rice with chicken cutlet and japanese curry and ham and cheese pocket sandwiches. The servings are quite big and there's no doub that you can't go full.

Between the sandwiches, the ham and cheese pocket sandwich tasted better than mine. Mine tasted nice also but Ham and cheese was better.

Beef Lasagne was really tasted nice and it was quite spicy too. I have already blogged about Baked Chicken Rice before since that was what I ordered on my previous trip.

And another one more thing I wanted to mention would be the SOUP. The mushroom soup was heavenly and you need to top up 5 dollars to any of your dishes to enjoy both the soup and the drink. The soup was soo good that i couldn't put down my spoon away.

The price was quite reasonable and they do have service charge too. Would go there again,

definitely to try Ham and Cheese Sandwich.

This was day when I met some of my primach school mates. It was a reunion gathering and we met at cafe cartel for dinner.
We reminisced over dinner. Cracked jokes, shared all the naughty things we did, they even made fun of my curly hai back then and it was sooo funny. We laughed till our sides hurt. It was quite fun. Though it was suppose to be 16 of us, who confirmed to come, but eventually the number deduced to 6 of us.
But nevertheless, we still had fun. We took this as the beginning, from 6, it would just multiply as we increase our meetings.
And yes, I ordered California Waffles which comes with banana slices, peaches and ice cream. I had been craving for waffles very badly and glad that I could fulfil my cravings here at Cafe Cartel.
My waffle was served in such a pleasant way that I was already tempted to eat when I saw the picture itself in the menu. When my waffle was served, I immediately couldn't wait for the rest of their dishes to come, I just wanted to go ahead first. The serving was quite big so you don't have to worry about not getting full.
The rest ordered Chicken Supreme Platter and Chilli Chicken platter which was also tasted yummmy. But I just loved mydsh to death. And I also ordered Ore Frappe. As it is, Iove oreos and that explains it all why I ordered tis drink.
In your menu list, you can choose to add more bananas or peaches or anything additional. The menu list will be on the table and you can write it down and pass it to the waiter. You don't have to take orders from all your friends and by the time, the waiter walked towards your place, you forget their orders. This way is sooo much easier and convenient.
Cafe Cartel's ambience was brilliant and cozy. You can choose to sit either inside or outside. We sat outside since it was already full indoors. The price was quite reasonable. And it is a good place to chill out with friends.

TOAST BOX

TOAST BOX

I was having my semester holidays and was missing my girlfriends very badly. We planned to meet up but since some of them had something on, only my lovely preemal could make it.
We went to watch Dil Bole Hadippa. That movie was awesomeeeeeee.
Shahid was looking hot as ever ever ever ever and ever. His killer looks are to die for and I love him soo much.
okok, this is not a movie or a celebrity review. It's my food blog. Alright, after the movie, we went to shop around for Preemal's snickers and then we headed to TOAST BOX. We went to have something light as we were quite full.
At TOAST BOX, we ordered MILO THICK TOAST. It was a normal bread, toasted and it was coated with Milo powder and a few spreads of milk sweetner. Though, the way I say may sound normal for some people, but the taste was HEAVENLY. Besides Shahid, I can die for chocolates too. As the toast was coated with Milo powder, it tasted very chocolately and yummy.
I really loved the toasts and they were actually recommended to me by Preemal. They will only serve you one toast and it will be just nice for any tea beak with a tea. And yes, I also ordered the normal kaya toast also as I couldn't resist the kaya toast also.
A place for light tea break snacks. =)
